Pirelli Masters National – Wildcard Entry – Preston Docks 25th/26th June
Conditions - Sandy.
Another wildcard entry at the well run Pirelli Masters National Series.
Both the boys have worked hard at learning to race in the softer sandy conditions, after growing up in an area of very hard packed dirt, and it is really paying off. They have been putting maximum effort into their fitness training also and it is rewarding them both at the end of the longer races.
Charlie put in some great solid racing and brought his 125 Yamaha home in 3rd place in all 4 races, pushing the 2nd placed rider closely in two of his races. On the podium with 3rd overall and, more importantly, feeling the benefits of his hard work.
Ollie, who is still progressing with his sand riding, also put in very solid rides this weekend in a full and strong lineup of 85′s. After being slightly disappointed with his first race 16th, he upped his game and kept improving with 11th, 9th and 9th to give him a well earned 10th overall.
The Beamish boys are happy with their progress and hungry for more with the second half of the MX Nationals Series coming soon. Watch this space..
Both boys showing good style and hard on the gas!!
