Michelin Mx Nationals – Round 4 – Canada Heights 23rd & 24th July

Conditons – Mix of sandy and hard packed soil.

Both the Beamish Boys back in action this week and keen as ever to progress.

Charlie racing at 100 per cent effort as always posted 8th in timed training and finished 11th and 10th on Saturday after a small spill in each race set him back. On Sunday he came out all guns blazing and took a very strong 6th, followed by another 10th in the last race, after two slip offs as a result of pushing a little too hard on the , by now, very rough track. His consistency still gave him a decent 7th overall on the day. He now lays 7th in the Championship and 2nd in the 125 category.

Ollie posted 18th in timed training. He was then running a strong 12th in race one but a slip saw him get stuck under his bike and lose a lot of time to salvage 21st. Race two went more to plan with a 12th. Race 3 on Sunday, Ollie gave a strong performance to end up 10th and followed it up with 11th in race four. He now sits in 13th position in the Championship.

The boys are now looking forward to round 5 at Wakes Colne, another famous circuit for them to experience.13770442_1048311728592085_8190140556800587848_n 13775626_312634205737360_7963710274581861720_n 13654330_1169684859739244_6754110009132183572_n 13620040_312636672403780_1712901366661725184_n
